How to Clean

  1. Normally, just sweep away the burnt flourfrom the stone.
  2. If yourstone is stuck with dough, pizza toppings, or has absorbed oil, soak it in water first, then use a plastic scraper to scrape them off. Do not use detergent or soap. *The most effective way to clean a stone which has absorbed a lot of oil is to burn it evenly with flame for about 30 minutes. There will be some gray marks left on the stone then.
  3. Store the clean stone in a ventilated dry place, the pizza stone must be kept dry to prevent mold.
